Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related technical field
- 5+ years of experience in project management and business analysis
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project management plans, including work breakdown structures, performance metrics, and schedules using project tracking tools
- Coordinate and facilitate meetings, prepare agendas, document minutes, and update project management plans accordingly
- Provide monthly status reports to the Project Manager (PM) and Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), detailing project progress, accomplishments, pending issues, and cost tracking
- Manage the workload of a diverse team of developers and technical administrators, ensuring project milestones and deliverables are met
- Respond to and triage customer inquiries related to services and solution requests
- Analyze business requirements and conduct requirements elicitation to determine effort, milestones, and planning
- Research and recommend technical approaches for business process improvements, supporting the customer's mission
- Develop βas-isβ and βto-beβ business process models for various information systems
- Collaborate with developers and system administrators to create custom solutions for complex business problems
- Lead internal testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and other testing phases, managing issues and defects from identification to resolution
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and external vendors to develop and execute deployment plans
- Create technical user guides, system reference documents, and training materials, and provide end-user training and support
- Develop a transition plan to ensure a smooth handover of work and knowledge to federal employees or other contractors, as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with government contracting and software development is preferred
- Experience interfacing with senior-level stakeholders, demonstrating strong leadership and customer service skills
- Experience within the VA or other federal organizations is highly desirable
- Experience with Data Migration and Syndication within the VA is a plus
