Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience managing international government funds
- Experience creating donor financial reports
- High level of proficiency using Excel and Google sheets

Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on management of the finances of Halaβs grants and contracts, including maintaining accurate and up-to-date budget trackers
- Manage budget spending and types of expenditures
- Manage cash flow projections
- Prepare and submit financial reports and invoices to donors
- Handle donor communications and approvals
- Manage budget realignments (internal and external)
- Regularly coordinate with the Program Operations and Accounting teams
- Collaborate closely with the Program Operations Department to forecast expenses and ensure compliance with each donorβs regulations
- Manage subgrantees including expense tracking, including drafting sub-agreements and amendments
- Collaborate closely with the Accounting and Finance department to collect data for budget tracking and reporting
- Provide guidance on expense allocations
- Review profit and loss statements for each grant
- Work with the Revenue and Finance Team in developing cost proposals for new opportunities
- Assist in preparing for and managing donor audits
- Lead the consolidation of programmatic expenses and forecasts for corporate budgeting and management
- Support shared direct cost and indirect allocation and tracking
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with programs in Ukraine or Syria
- Ukrainian or Arabic language skills
- Knowledge of accounting systems
