Summary

Join Rackspace Technology as a Program Lead on the Public Cloud Strategic Operations Team, driving execution of our AWS collaboration program. Requirements

  • Possess expert-level knowledge of project and program management
  • Possess expert-level knowledge of AWS processes and programs
  • Demonstrate excellent time management, communication, decision-making, presentation, human relations, and organizational skills
  • Possess financial skills to develop, track, and report on the program budget
  • Demonstrate expert understanding of risk analysis, project reporting, and tracking
  • Have the ability to manage matrixed program teams in diverse environments
  • Be proficient with MS Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and complex problem-solving
  • Have the ability to work autonomously with limited coaching
  • Demonstrate creative thinking and the ability to โ€˜think outside the boxโ€™
  • Have the ability to communicate complex information and ideas in a simplified manner
  • Have the ability to apply varying leadership skills and traits that create solutions and results in unexpected situations
  • High School Diploma or regional equivalent
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in a field related to the role (additional relevant experience may substitute at managerโ€™s discretion)
  • A minimum of 10-12 years of experience in the field of the role

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute the program and multiple projects within the program, some with highly complex requirements
  • Plan and execute the dedicated program, including the program plan, timelines, milestones, financial management, performance metrics, and/or resource needs for a complex program
  • Have a full understanding of all program/project requirements; both business and technical
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, as well as coordinating across functions
  • Communicate the program status and risk to relevant stakeholders and hold them accountable for following the established schedule, risk mitigation plans, and processes
  • Track the success criteria, performance metrics, and Key Performance Indicators for the program

Experience and expertise with AWS funding mechanics, AWS processes, and AWS field engagement

  • Variable compensation in the form of bonus, commissions, or other discretionary payments (based on eligibility, company and/or individual performance)
  • Salary range for Colorado: $116,100 - $170,280
  • Salary range for Hawaii and New York (excluding NYC): $123,600 - $181,280
  • Salary range for California, New York City, and Washington: $135,300 - $198,440
