Summary

Join FNA as a Data Science Project Manager to deliver complex projects in the financial services sector using advanced network analytics and GraphAI. This is a full-time, permanent role with preference for remote work from Barcelona, Spain.

Requirements

  • 3 - 5 years of project management experience delivering complex projects within the financial services sector. Preference will be given to projects involving software delivery or data analytics
  • Must be detail-oriented with excellent time management skills and a service-oriented mindset
  • An out-of-the-box thinker who is a highly organized self-starter
  • Effective at building and maintaining relationships
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and persuade
  • Strong analytical and interpretive skills
  • Efficiently balances accuracy and speed while getting things done
  • You're a team player with tenacity underpinned by self-awareness and empathy
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Ability to travel occasionally

Responsibilities

  • Deliver impactful data science projects that utilize advanced network analytics and GraphAI to solve complex problems in payment systems, financial crime, and CBDCs
  • Collaborate with clients’ and FNA’s subject matter experts to establish technical and business requirements, overall project plan, time and budget estimates, goals and milestones needed to support a successful client experience and delivery
  • Facilitate client requirements gathering using various methods e.g., workshops, interviews, demos etc
  • Take responsibility for projects delivered on time, on budget and within the governance framework
  • Produce regular project progress reports for internal teams and client stakeholders
  • Lead regular project review sessions, ensuring proactive management of the allocated technical teams within the project team to help communicate upcoming, forecasted or potential risks and issues
  • Manage and communicate the project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies
  • Collaborate internally with sales, product, and engineering teams to ensure new commitments are deliverable and appropriate costs are considered and planned
  • Communicate and support the seamless delivery of new features within the project scope, including formal/informal training and the drafting of client communications
  • Assist with pre-sales client development, refining estimates, and working with the commercial team to shape expectations for new business
