Join Chamberlain College of Nursing as a Part-Time Online Visiting Professor for our Doctorate of Nursing (DNP) online program. Requirements
- MSN and DNP (or PhD or EdD) Nursing degree (doctorate must be conferred)
- Illinois RN License
- Documented experience in assisting students through DNP project
- 2 years in an academic DNP project faculty advisor or faculty role
- Proven ability to mentor and guide diverse student populations through complex projects
- Documented experience in developing DNP PICOT questions and projects
- Documented experience in evaluating appropriate literature to support evidence-based interventions
- Demonstrated commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment and addressing health disparities in DNP projects
- Experience in providing constructive feedback, setting clear expectations, and empowering students to overcome challenges
- Proven track record of cultivating leadership skills in students, promoting collaboration, and preparing them for advanced roles in nursing practice
- Experience ensuring that DNP projects align with accreditation standards (e.g., CCNE, CNEA) and contributing to curriculum design in graduate nursing programs
- Proficiency with learning management systems (e.g., Canvas, Blackboard) and innovative teaching tools to support online and hybrid education models
- Experience working with interdisciplinary teams to enhance healthcare delivery and out outcomes which could enrich students' perspectives on DNP projects
- Proficiency in interpreting and applying statistical tools for evaluating project outcomes, particularly in the context of evidence-based practice
- Online teaching experience
- Required subject matter expertise and outstanding written communication skills and familiar with APA
- Excellent motivational and instructional skills in a diverse and non-traditional environment
