Summary
Join AC Disaster Consulting as a Project Management Intern and gain hands-on experience in emergency management. - 0-2+ yearsβ beginner-level knowledge/experience in project management principles
- Beginner-level customer service experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Eligibility to work in the United States without employer sponsored visa is required
- Must pass company and any applicable client background check and reference check upon offer of employment
Responsibilities
- Assist project managers in tracking project timelines, deliverables, reporting, and milestones
- Support documentation and reporting efforts, including meeting notes, status updates, and presentations
- Assist in developing process improvement recommendations and workflow optimization
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate meetings and project updates
- Contribute to post-project hotwashes and ensure internal action items are documented and prioritized
- Support project tracking and reporting with Salesforce and several Microsoft tools
- Work on projects that have a direct impact on clients if available/needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with process mapping or Salesforce reporting
- Prior internship, coursework, or project experience in emergency management, project coordination, logistics, and/or operations
- Familiarity with FEMA programs or disaster recovery frameworks
- Current GPA of 3.0 or higher
