Summary
Join Johnson Barrow, a leading HVAC organization, as a Project Manager overseeing HVAC projects for a key national account. This remote role requires managing multiple projects across the US, ensuring consistent delivery, clear client communication, and successful execution. You will lead full-cycle project management, serve as the primary client contact, and coordinate resources across multiple job sites. Maintain project documentation, standardize workflows, and manage change orders and risk assessments. Direct HVAC experience is beneficial but not required; strong project management experience in industrial, commercial, or MEP sectors is essential.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of project management experience in industrial, commercial, or MEP construction environments
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership skills
Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle project management for HVAC installations, retrofits, and upgrades across multiple nationwide customer sites
- Serve as the primary point of contact for a strategic national client, ensuring exceptional service and consistent communication
- Coordinate resources, schedules, budgets, and subcontractors across multiple job sites to meet client expectations and company standards
- Maintain consistent project documentation, reporting, and performance tracking across all project locations
- Standardize workflows and enforce quality, safety, and compliance protocols across geographically dispersed sites
- Conduct remote and on-site meetings as needed; travel to key sites for kickoff, inspections, and closeout as required
- Manage change orders, risk assessments, and schedule adjustments in coordination with client stakeholders and internal teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with HVAC systems, mechanical contracting, or energy-efficient technologies is a plus , not a requirement
- PMP certification or similar credential
- Experience with standardized delivery across national or enterprise-level accounts
- Experience managing multi-site construction projects or large-scale client portfolios
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar)
