Summary
Join the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) as a Project Manager to support the Call to Action, a public-private partnership advancing OHA's strategic plan. This role involves managing external engagement, coalition-building, and internal records related to partner commitments. You will leverage expertise in government to support daily activities, focusing on stakeholder management and communication. The position is remote with occasional travel, and the successful candidate will be hired by the CDC Foundation, working with OHA. The salary ranges from $85,000 to $110,000, and the CDC Foundation offers an attractive benefits package. This is a full-time position funded through March 31, 2026.
Requirements
- Have a Master's degree in public health or a related field and a minimum of 10 years of government, public health or related professional experience
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience preparing, writing and editing documents and executive communication
- Demonstrate sound judgment and maturity, exemplified by consistent professionalism in dealing with individuals at all levels both internally and externally
Responsibilities
- Use project management tools to maintain a database of partner outreach activities, including partner commitments and partner convenings
- Provide regular reports to the OHA Directorβs Office on the status of partner outreach activities
- Support partner outreach activities through meeting preparation, meeting facilitation, and meeting scheduling
- Provide support to the Health Equity Champions Council, including preparation and support for ad-hoc council meetings
- Support internal and external correspondence related to the Call to Action
- Support the development of program materials related to the Call to Action
- Support the development of promotional materials, such as microsite posts and partner profiles, for the Call to Action
- Participate in and/or lead special projects and other duties as assigned
- Monitor incoming/outgoing correspondence and provide feedback
- Provide budget oversight
Preferred Qualifications
- Have experience with or background in health communications
- Have experience using project management tools to manage day-to-day business activities, including spreadsheet and database management
- Have experience in partner engagement and partnership development in support of public health priorities
- Have experience and proficiency handling public-private partnerships (or functional equivalent collaborations)
- Be an Oregon-based candidate or have strong Oregon ties
