Requirements
- 4+ years IT project management experience
- Experience working under a structured Project Management Office (PMO)
- Proven leadership, management, analytical, problem solving and technical skills
- Demonstrated, proven, and polished "soft skills" including: Diplomacy and ability to navigate challenging political waters
- Strength and confidence
- Outstanding interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- An aptitude for technology
- Experience working in cross functional teams
Responsibilities
- Manage complex projects from design and development to production
- Create and execute project work plans and revising as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
- Identify resources needed at the project level and assign individual responsibilities to Project Engineers
- Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope and resolving issues that come up
- Effectively apply Dataprise methodology and enforce project standards
- Communicate with internal and external customers, including project kickoff meetings, regular status updates, and engagement reviews
- Ensure project documents are complete, accurate, and stored appropriately
- Manage project budgets and forecasting requirements and analyzing variances, initiating corrective actions where appropriate
- Minimize exposure and risk to Dataprise on projects
- Ensure timely and accurate invoicing
- Contribute to continuous improvement of PMO processes based on previous experience and industry standards
- Work to continually increase job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations
- Strive to enhance department and organization by exhibiting ownership and exploring opportunities that add value to job accomplishments
Preferred Qualifications
- Current PMP and ITIL Foundation certifications
- Bachelorβs degree in a technical or business area
