Project Manager

Requirements

• 4+ years IT project management experience
• Experience working under a structured Project Management Office (PMO)
• Proven leadership, management, analytical, problem solving and technical skills
• Demonstrated, proven, and polished "soft skills" including: Diplomacy and ability to navigate challenging political waters
• Strength and confidence
• Outstanding interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
• An aptitude for technology
• Experience working in cross functional teams

Responsibilities

• Manage complex projects from design and development to production
• Create and execute project work plans and revising as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
• Identify resources needed at the project level and assign individual responsibilities to Project Engineers
• Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope and resolving issues that come up
• Effectively apply Dataprise methodology and enforce project standards
• Communicate with internal and external customers, including project kickoff meetings, regular status updates, and engagement reviews
• Ensure project documents are complete, accurate, and stored appropriately
• Manage project budgets and forecasting requirements and analyzing variances, initiating corrective actions where appropriate
• Minimize exposure and risk to Dataprise on projects
• Ensure timely and accurate invoicing
• Contribute to continuous improvement of PMO processes based on previous experience and industry standards
• Work to continually increase job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations
• Strive to enhance department and organization by exhibiting ownership and exploring opportunities that add value to job accomplishments

Preferred Qualifications

• Current PMP and ITIL Foundation certifications
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business area
