Requirements

  • Years of Experience: 5+ years of experience
  • Degree: Master's degree in a relevant field is required (e.g., Business Administration, Project Management)
  • USAID Experience: Extensive experience managing USAID-funded projects
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in project management software and tools
  • Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Leadership Skills: Strong project planning and management skills
  • Organization Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

  • Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Resource Management: Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and finances
  • Communication: Coordinate with team members and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary. Prepare and present project status reports
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks and develop contingency plans
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards through rigorous review processes
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, and final deliverables

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters Degree in a relevant field
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification
  • Experience working on USAID-funded projects
  • Familiarity with USAID policies, procedures, and reporting requirements
