Summary

Join DISCO as a Project Manager and work directly with clients to leverage the DISCO platform for their eDiscovery and investigation needs. You will be the primary point of contact for managing client data throughout the eDiscovery lifecycle, acting as a DISCO ambassador. Responsibilities include designing review workflows, overseeing database administration, providing expert advice on best practices, and conducting product training. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is crucial to ensure optimal client outcomes. This role requires 5+ years of eDiscovery project management experience and familiarity with industry-standard eDiscovery platforms. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of eDiscovery project management experience at a law firm, in-house legal department or service provider
  • 5+ years of working knowledge with one or more industry standard eDiscovery platforms, such as DISCO, Relativity, Recommind, or Concordance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on detail, organization, and responsiveness
  • Successfully able to manage multiple fast-paced projects simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical-thinking skills to troubleshoot technical challenges and craft creative solutions
  • Committed to providing excellent service and support, both internally and externally
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, scope, and technology

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact (POC) for managing client data through the eDiscovery lifecycle
  • Act as an ambassador for DISCO, representing the company's values and solutions to clients and at client functions
  • Build strong relationships and establish open communication with clients, ensuring their understanding of DISCO usage, status reporting, and core product functionality
  • Communicate project milestones and updates to DISCO Project Managers and clients, ensuring smooth and transparent project progress
  • Design and implement review workflows, while overseeing the administration of DISCO databases to facilitate efficient data management
  • Develop advanced knowledge of the DISCO platform and capabilities to provide clients with expert advice on best practices for early data assessment, document review, production, depositions, and trial
  • Conduct product training sessions for attorneys, paralegals, and litigation support specialists to enhance their proficiency in utilizing DISCO's tools and features
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members, including other Project Managers, Forensics, Data Operations, Disco Desk, and Client Success, to address challenges, find effective solutions, and ensure the best possible outcomes for clients
  • Provide valuable feedback and communicate feature requests to the product and engineering teams, contributing to the continuous improvement of DISCO's offering

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years experience working at a consulting firm or provided consultative solutions in eDiscovery
  • 1+ years experience working for a litigation support group at a law firm/corporation or working closely with lit support groups in your previous roles
  • 1+ years experience with data collection and processing software
