Project Manager

Summary

Join Granicus as a Project Manager and become an expert on our platform, partnering in successful project rollouts across the United States. Manage medium to large-sized customer projects from start to finish, overseeing discovery, requirements gathering, and client training. You will advise clients on improving online processes, collaborate with implementation consultants, and ensure solutions meet business needs. Prioritize initiatives, participate in sprint meetings, create test plans, and foster relationships with internal partners. Maintain project plans, status reports, and relevant documentation, while identifying and mitigating potential risks. This role requires 3-5 years of experience in software/tech, specifically in project management, business analysis, consulting, customer onboarding, or training. You must reside in Costa Rica.

Requirements

• You have 3 – 5 years of experience working in software/tech, specifically around project management, business analysis, consulting, customer onboarding and/or training
• You understand process improvement and how to effectively apply it to the customer’s software implementation experience
• Solid understanding of Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
• Demonstrate and ensure timely and thorough communication of strategy, deliverable status, and results
• You have a proven ability to flex between the technical and business sides of your brain – engineers and cross-functional team members alike love to work with you
• You are able to work with multiple cross-functional teams to build and evaluate business cases to support product investment decisions
• You have a relentless commitment to doing the most valuable work first
• You have excellent communications skills – listening, verbal, and written
• You can work both independently and as a member of cross-functional teams, some remote

Responsibilities

• Manage medium to large sized customer projects from start to finish
• Manage large, cross-product, platform implementations from start to finish
• Create and maintain project plans, project status reports, and relevant project documentation
• Identify potential implementation risks and mitigation – as early as possible
• Serve as an advisor to the customer as they improve their online processes
• Collaborate with Implementation Consultants on requirement gathering sessions, both internal and external
• Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements
• Prioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirements
• Participate in sprint planning, review, and retrospective meetings and provide feedback to the team
• Create test plans and facilitate user acceptance testing of custom-built services
• Collaborate and work closely with internal partners; you will be fostering relationships with coworkers across the company to support their efforts while delivering products
• Staying up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems
• Responsible for Granicus information security by appropriately preserving the Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability (CIA) of Granicus information assets in accordance with the company's information security program
• Responsible for ensuring the data privacy of our employees and customers, their data, as well as taking all required privacy training in a timely manner, in accordance with company policies
