Project Manager

Summary

As an early team member, you will play a crucial role in reducing maternal health disparities. This Project Manager position focuses on supporting Medicaid payer partnerships to address racial disparities in maternal health outcomes. You will lead the implementation and management of key payer contracts and contribute to business development efforts. The ideal candidate possesses strong project management skills, experience in Medicaid Managed Care, and a passion for maternal health equity. Requirements

• Highly organized, able to manage time effectively, and comfortable working across multiple workstreams concurrently
• 5-7 years of Medicaid Managed Care program / population experience or healthcare payer experience
• 1-3 years Project Management experience, including leading a program end-to-end
• Relationship management experience
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
• Strong data analysis skills
• Background/expertise in: maternal-child health, sexual & reproductive health, population health, Medicaid health policy, or other relevant fields

Responsibilities

• Support contracting, planning, and deployment of payer pilots
• Manage communication and relationship (phone, e-mail, meetings) with client and Mae team
• Develop status updates, report outs, and presentations to client and internal team
• Revise project plans / resources to meet changing needs and requirements
• Define, measure, and track success metrics of each initiative
• Identify client pain points and implement quick solutions
• Collaborate internally with other departments to address areas for improvement and/or client requests
• Lead internal progress tracking and growth strategy for assigned payer partners
