Summary

Join SMX as a Project Manager to lead projects supporting the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) and Department of Defense (DoD) in SW Development for Reliability and Maintainability (R&M) analysis. You will manage the delivery of software products, interface with government customers, manage project schedules and costs, and oversee subcontractors. This role requires a strong background in Reliability and Maintainability Engineering and project management, along with a Secret clearance. A Master's degree in Engineering, a Technical Discipline, or Business, or a Bachelor's degree with 4 years of experience is required, along with 10 years of relevant experience. Requirements

  • Clearance Required: Secret
  • Required education: MS Degree in an Engineering Discipline, Masterโ€™s Degree in a Technical Discipline, or Masterโ€™s Degree in a Business Discipline. A Bachelor's and 4 years of additional experience can be substituted for the Master's Degree
  • 10 years of experience in a combination of Reliability and Maintainability Engineering, Logistics, Systems Engineering, SW Engineering and/or Project Management

Responsibilities

  • Manage the delivery of SW products to government customers that support their mission needs to analyze the needs for reliability and maintainability of new and existing Aircraft, Ships, and or Weapons Systems
  • Develop, maintain, and manage project schedules and cost baselines
  • Interface with Government customers to refine requirements, asses satisfaction with current products and determine the needs for enhancements or new products
  • Manage subcontractor and supervisor SMX personnel supporting the projects

Preferred Qualifications

  • An active Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Experience with SW Development in an Agile Framework
  • Experience with Reliability and Maintainability Engineering for Aircraft, Ships, and or Weapons Systems
  • Experience with managing DoD Contracts and Acquisitions to include Subcontractor Management
