Requirements

  • Three to five years of experience working in a project environment, including relevant industry experience preferably with overall responsibility
  • Ability to anticipate potential problems and proactively troubleshoot to resolve issues
  • Strong ability to define technical problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to analyze ideas and use logic to determine their strengths and weaknesses
  • Ability to understand new information or materials by studying and working with them
  • Ability to effectively communicate, present information, and respond to managers, employees, customers, and vendors in an intelligent, clear, concise, professional and grammatically correct manner
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships, understand and educate customers
  • Ability to understand processes, and see holes or areas for improvement

Responsibilities

  • Develop and Enhance Project Management Skills: Train and support employees, contractors, and partners in applying effective project management skills to deliver high-quality results efficiently
  • Facilitate Organizational Success: Evaluate work and provide actionable insights to support decision-making aligned with organizational goals
  • Drive Change Management: Implement and sustain processes, tools, and skills for process updates and capability enhancements
  • Enable Collaboration and Communication: Facilitate stakeholder discussions, streamline communication, and implement processes for continuous improvement
  • Plan and Launch Projects: Lead project kick-off meetings and create comprehensive project plans covering risk, cost, procurement, quality, and scope management
  • Monitor and Mitigate Risks: Forecast project trajectories, proactively address risks, and ensure projects stay on time and budget
  • Manage Data and Reporting: Maintain accurate project information, trackers, and systems while communicating updates to stakeholders
  • Strengthen Relationships: Build trusted partnerships across teams, departments, and with stakeholders to drive project success
  • Improve Project Performance: Monitor and enhance key performance metrics, including efficiency, on-time delivery, and profitability
  • Participate in Team Initiatives: Attend and contribute to regular operations meetings to align with organizational strategies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • PMP or Equivalent Professional Certification
  • Preferred experience creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
  • Preferred experience writing internal knowledge base articles (Wiki) for training other departments
  • Preferred experience developing solutions within Smartsheet
