Project Manager

Summary

Join OCT Consulting, LLC, an SBA-certified 8(a) small business, as a Project Manager supporting our federal government clients. This role requires at least five years of experience in federal acquisition office closeouts, managing closeout teams, and ensuring timely and compliant closeouts. You will oversee a team of specialists, track closeout activities, and ensure documentation meets federal standards. The position offers remote work options with occasional travel to Washington D.C. and a competitive compensation package including comprehensive benefits. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, and a Public Trust clearance is required. Active DoD Secret clearance is a plus.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• 5 years of closeout experience in a federal acquisition office
• Experience managing closeout teams
• Must be able to obtain or retain a Public Trust clearance

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of closeout specialists to ensure the timely and accurate completion of federal grant and contract closeout processes
• Track and report on the status of closeout activities, including financial reconciliations, contract obligations, and final deliverables, providing regular updates to the client via weekly and monthly status reports
• Ensure that all closeout documentation meets federal standards and organizational policies, while identifying areas for process improvement
• Lead other team efforts as assigned
