Project Manager, Renewable Energy

Join AFRY's Energy Division as a Project Manager to deliver renewable energy projects across Ireland, Northern Ireland, and Great Britain. You will act as project manager on multi-contract or EPC renewable energy projects during pre-construction and construction phases. The role involves managing clients, tender and contract negotiation processes, preparing project delivery plans, administering construction contracts, and participating in business development activities.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or Renewables focused subject
• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Project Manager on renewable energy projects or closely related infrastructure sector
• Self-starter with excellent written and oral communication skills, able to manage multiple tasks
• Full driving licence valid in Ireland

Responsibilities

• Provide clients and colleagues with help and support to deliver renewable energy projects
• Act as project manager on multi-contract or EPC renewable energy projects in Ireland and the UK during pre-construction and construction phases of the project
• Support client base and work closely with project funders to bring development projects to Financial Close
• Ensure that all works are delivered to the highest standard of safety, including discharging statutory safety roles on behalf of the client
• Manage tender and contract negotiation process for main equipment supply packages and Operations and Maintenance Agreement
• Prepare project delivery plan, including programme and Capex/Opex budget
• Administer construction contracts, fulfilling role of 'Engineer' or 'Employer's Representative' as appropriate
• Assess interim accounts and negotiate variations and claims necessary under construction contracts
