Property Management Bookkeeper

You will utilize Yardi Voyager to manage tenant billing, payments, and reconciliations, ensuring timely collections. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential for resolving discrepancies and maintaining tenant relationships. The ideal candidate possesses at least 3 years of accounts receivable experience, including 2 years in US commercial real estate, and proficiency in Yardi Voyager and Excel. Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of accounts receivable experience, with at least 2 years in US-based commercial real estate
• Proficiency in Yardi Voyager and strong Excel skills
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
• Highly organized with strong analytical skills for resolving financial discrepancies
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote setting

Responsibilities

• Verify tenant balances and post monthly charges (rent, CAM, and other billables) in Yardi Voyager
• Generate and distribute tenant billing statements accurately and on time
• Process and record tenant payments via Yardi, portals, ACH transfers, and checks
• Conduct account reconciliations and address discrepancies promptly
• Monitor AR aging reports, follow up on overdue balances, and issue late notices by the 15th of the month
• Collaborate with property management to resolve escalated delinquencies
• Generate AR aging reports and provide insights on outstanding balances
• Serve as the primary contact for tenant billing inquiries and support

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
