Summary

Requirements

  • Experience with K-12 education procurement and a knowledge of district purchasing cycles
  • Well-developed project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple proposals under tight deadlines
  • Impressive written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts for educational decision-makers
  • Critical thinking and analytical problem-solving skills to assess opportunities and refine proposal strategies
  • Experience working with RFP management platforms such as Loopio, RFPIO, or similar tools
  • Knowledge of SLED procurement regulations and contract compliance requirements

Responsibilities

  • Assess existing proposal workflows and recommend process improvements
  • Develop a content library with high-impact responses tailored for K-12/SLED RFPs
  • Implement a tracking system for monitoring proposal success rates and refining bid strategies
  • Proactively search for new solicitations through platforms such as RFP SchoolWatch, GovSpend, or other means
  • Lead the end-to-end proposal development process, ensuring compliance with K-12/SLED procurement regulations
  • Develop foundational knowledge of Securly’s EdTech solutions and their application in the education sector
  • Implement an automated system for proposal responses to reduce turnaround time and increase accuracy
  • Establish collaborative workflows with Sales, Product, and Implementation teams to ensure alignment between proposals and customer needs
  • Provide strategic input on bid/no-bid decisions based on competitive intelligence and feasibility analysis
  • Monitor and analyze win/loss data to refine proposal strategies and enhance results
  • Increase proposal volume while maintaining quality and success rates
  • Train internal teams on K-12 procurement processes and how districts evaluate technology solutions
  • Build and maintain an insight-driven feedback loop to continuously improve proposals based on district priorities and market trends
  • Serve as the go-to resource for proposal strategy and best practices

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of funding sources for K-12 technology adoption, including ESSER, Title I, and state-level grants
  • Experience in EdTech or a related SaaS-based industry
  • Deep research skills to identify new RFP opportunities and stay ahead of procurement trends
