Summary

Join Renaissance®, a global leader in pre-K–12 education technology, as a Proposal Writer! This temporary role, running from September 1st through the end of January 2026, with the potential to become full-time, involves crafting compelling sales proposals. You will develop and revise content for RFPs/RFQs/RFIs, ensuring proposals are clear, concise, and aligned with Renaissance's brand. Responsibilities include writing content that meets specific customer needs, revising proposals to enhance competitiveness, and researching information from various sources. The ideal candidate possesses 3-5+ years of writing experience and familiarity with the K-12 EdTech market.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of writing experience or in proposal services
  • Experience working in a cross-functional/matrixed environment
  • Experience working with proposal management software, preferable Loopio but others (RFPio, Qvidian, etc.) also acceptable

Responsibilities

  • Develop and revise content to create custom sales proposals that are documents Renaissance submits to its customers – schools, districts, and state agencies. In addition, the content crafted should provide clear, concise and specific information that presents products appropriately
  • Write content for proposals that meet the requirements of the RFP and/or request and are customized to the specific customer/opportunity. All content must align with department style guide, corporate branding and company positioning
  • Revising proposals to support the sales strategy driving the proposal to include win themes, positioning statements, action captions, and other methods of creating compelling, competitive proposal content
  • Seeking insight for proposal responses independently through available company resources (Product Management, Sales Professional Services, online, etc.) or through external information provided by customers or found in reference manuals, information manuals, resources, sites, etc
  • Maintaining current knowledge of the larger K-12 EdTech market and can articulate common themes and emerging customer needs as expressed in RFPs/RFIs/RFQs
  • Contributing to content libraries for multiple products and may assist in composing original content for products gained acquisition and/or new development
  • Understanding Renaissance’s GTM strategy for different products and delivers strong proposals that align with the company GTM strategy

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in K-12 education, Edtech, or related industry preferred
  • APMP certification preferred, but not required
