Summary

Join our team as a Public Relations and Media Outreach Manager and help us shape the narrative of our rapidly growing presence in the Americas! This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a proven track record in media relations and public outreach. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive public relations and media outreach strategies. The position offers opportunities in media relations, strategic communication, content creation, crisis management, event coordination, and analytics and reporting. We are considering remote candidates. Sponsorship is not offered for this opportunity.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of PR/Media experience
  • Track record of successful PR/Media campaigns
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
  • Proven experience in public relations, media management, or a similar role
  • Strong understanding of the media landscape in our industry, in the Americas
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and digital communication tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of PR KPIs: Share of Voice, Sentiment analysis, etc

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local media outlets, journalists, and influencers
  • Proactively pitch stories and respond to media inquiries
  • Develop and implement PR strategies that align with the region's goals and resonate with the target audience in the Americas
  • Craft press releases, media kits, speeches, editorial content, and other communication materials
  • Ensure all content is accurate, engaging, and aligned with the brandโ€™s voice
  • Partners with the Regional Director of Communications and Marketing during PR crises
  • Develop and execute crisis communication plans to mitigate negative publicity
  • Plan and execute press conferences, media briefings, and other PR events
  • Ensure seamless coordination and effective media coverage
  • Monitor media coverage and PR campaign performance
  • Provide regular reports and insights to senior management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in crisis communication and reputation management
  • Familiarity with the industry or sector in which the corporation operates
  • Multilingual abilities (Spanish)
