Join Motus as a Public Relations Specialist and develop, implement, and execute strategic PR plans to support business objectives and enhance market reputation. You will be the primary contact for the external PR agency, leading organic social media strategy and execution. This collaborative role involves working with executives, subject matter experts, and customers to identify compelling stories and amplify them through various channels. Responsibilities include developing PR plans, partnering with the PR agency, creating content, collaborating with marketing teams, developing an award strategy, monitoring industry trends, managing organic social media, tracking performance metrics, and supporting internal communications. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience in public relations, communications, or social media, preferably in B2B SaaS or tech, along with excellent writing and organizational skills. Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in public relations, communications, or social media—ideally in B2B SaaS or tech
- PR Agency experience or experience leading external PR agencies
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills—comfortable drafting both press materials and social copy
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines
- A proactive, resourceful approach with a passion for elevating brand narratives and building market visibility
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive PR plans aligned with company goals, product launches, and key campaigns
- Partner with our PR agency to drive execution, securing earned placements in top-tier and trade publications
- Develop content to support PR strategy, including press releases, talking points, and other commentary requests
- Collaborate with content and product marketing teams to surface newsworthy developments and translate them into media plans
- Develop and implement our award strategy to boost brand recognition
- Monitor industry trends and competitor media activity to inform our positioning
- Be responsible for the strategy and day-to-day execution of our organic social media channels (primarily LinkedIn and X)
- Develop, schedule, and optimize posts that drive engagement and build our audience
- Track and report on performance metrics, using data to continuously improve reach and engagement
- Support internal communications needs as appropriate, particularly around major announcements or milestones
