Senior Specialist - Public Relations

Summary

Join GoDaddy's Public Relations team as a PR Specialist, supporting PR channel activity for product launches and announcements. You will craft communications (press releases, bylines, etc.), support GoDaddy processes, build creative presentations, and stay informed about industry developments. The role requires strong creative storytelling skills, experience in crisis communications, and proficiency in Microsoft 365 and AI technologies. You will collaborate with global teams, manage processes and resources, and develop performance reports. This is a remote position with occasional office visits.

Requirements

• 3+ years’ experience in public relations or corporate communications, specifically involving communications planning and execution and resulting in measurable, positive outcomes
• Proven success in driving communications results with clear performance benchmarks in Public Relations and Communications channels
• Knowledge and experience using Public Relations measurement tools and media analysis
• Excellent project and time management skills, with the ability to balance multiple campaigns and activities, across multiple global markets simultaneously
• Experience collaborating across internal teams and external agencies/partners, demonstrating ability to articulate strategies, insights, and media analysis results while ensuring cohesive storytelling strategy and execution

Responsibilities

• Stay informed about small business industry global developments, innovative technologies, and unique opportunities in global media landscapes
• Drive continuous process improvements, adopting a test-and-learn method, and participate in GoDaddy’s culture of experimentation
• Manage centralized processes, resources, repositories, and tracking to drive consistencies and efficiencies across global initiatives
• Collaborate across global teams to align content and deliverables for use in the PR channel for market initiatives
• Develop and communicate informative campaign performance reports, emphasising channel-specific media analysis
• Manage internal documentation of processes and resource repositories
• Manage newswire and other wire service distribution services as used by GoDaddy
• Coordinate aspects of GoDaddy PR channel review processes, including set-up, tracking and follow-up, ensuring meeting requested deadlines, working with internal and external partners globally
