Summary

The job is for a part-time purchasing agent who will work remotely in the United States, reviewing and categorizing departmental emails, checking with vendors regarding delivery ETAs, receiving parts and warranties, submitting RMA’s, creating purchase orders, data entry, and more. The candidate should have 1-2 years’ work experience in a professional office setting, be a multi-tasker, have excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years’ work experience in a professional office setting
  • Excellent communication skills (written and spoken)
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills and strong attention to detail
  • Solid ability to meet deadlines in an organized and timely manner

Responsibilities

  • Checking with vendors regarding delivery ETAs and processing the information into our system
  • Receiving parts and warranties based on spreadsheets and vendor websites
  • Submitting RMA’s and maintaining the RMA queue/process
  • Creating purchase orders and buying product online when needed
  • Setting up part numbers
  • Data entry
  • Reviewing, responding to, and organizing a high-volume of purchasing emails
