Summary
Join HICX, a leading global provider of enterprise SaaS solutions for digital supplier management, as a QA Analyst. You will create and manage test plans, execute various testing strategies, and build automated tests. Responsibilities include integrating test plans into the release cycle, managing weekly inbound cases, collaborating with other teams, and tracking release quality. You will also identify and track defects, support root cause analysis, and contribute to improving QA standards. Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a QA Analyst role within a SaaS/PaaS environment
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.), test strategies, and risk-based testing
- Proficiency in writing and executing test cases based on business requirements and technical specifications
- Ability to communicate across multiple roles and levels
- Proven knowledge of white-box, black-box, regression, and exploratory testing techniques
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote setup
Responsibilities
- Create and manage test plans & Execute various testing strategies
- Build automated tests on AccelQ or similar automation platform
- Integrate test plans and automated test cases from the product QA team into the release cycle
- Manage weekly inbound cases for release testing
- Collaborate with colleagues and other teams to assure the quality of any changes introduced in the software
- Track and monitor quality of each release through its stages
- Identify, document, and track defects and support root cause analysis with the development team
- Contribute to the continual improvement of QA standards, processes, and tools
Preferred Qualifications
- ISTQB or other QA certifications
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows
- Experience with web-based applications, especially those using JavaScript, SQL, and BPMN-based workflows
- Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (Jira, Confluence, Qmetry)
- Experience with test automation tools; experience with AccelQ is a strong plus
- Experience in API testing using tools like Postman, Swagger, or similar is a strong plus
- SAP or Oracle experience
- Previous experience working with Supplier Information Management platforms
