Join Jam City, a leading mobile games developer, as a tester and contribute to certifying the quality of game functionalities and new features. Collaborate with the partners team during development and testing phases, designing and executing tests for every version build using tools like TestRail. This integral role ensures a good player experience and requires creating detailed bug reports in JIRA, following priorities to meet deadlines, verifying issue resolutions, and working with a collaborative QA team. The ideal candidate possesses experience testing mobile games, working with development teams, and using JIRA or similar issue tracking products. A deep understanding of QA pipelines and methodologies is essential.

Requirements

• Experience testing mobile games and working alongside a development team
• Experience with JIRA, or any other issue tracking product
• Extensive knowledge of QA pipeline and methodologies
• Heavily detail-oriented , with an inquisitive nature
• Strong desire to make positive changes for a product many players feel strongly about

Responsibilities

• Creating detailed bug reports in our issue tracking database “JIRA”, while communicating status changes to the team
• Following priorities from the QA lead and product leads, ensuring deadlines are met
• Verifying issue resolutions across all supported platforms and stabilizing release candidates
• Working alongside a highly collaborative QA team, supporting them with detailed investigations of issues
• Seeing features progress from design to creation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with iOS, Android, and Facebook platforms
• Passion for gaming, up-to-date on current trends relative to social/mobile gaming
• Coding experience would be beneficial
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies
