As a QA Automation Engineer, you will collaborate with the team to establish automation standards, build automated test scripts, and continuously improve existing tests. You will also monitor daily executions, conduct performance and functional tests, and create technical documentation. This role requires significant experience in software and automation testing, proficiency in programming (preferably Python), and familiarity with various testing tools. Requirements

• 4+ years practice in Software Testing
• 3+ years experience in Automation Testing (Web, Mobile, API)
• Proficiency in one programming language, preferably Python
• Knowledge of Databases (MySQL/ PostgreSQL/ MongoDB)
• Basic knowledge of performance testing
• Knows the basics of working with databases (MySQL/ PostgreSQL/ MongoDB)
• Web-based automation tools like Selenium/Robot Framework
• API testing tools like Postman, Newman
• Experienced in CI/CD tool

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the existing QA members to set automation standards and best practices
• Build automated test scripts for UI and API as defined in QA roadmap
• Continuous improvement and updating of existing tests
• Monitor daily executions and analyse the reports
• Conducting performance and functional tests
• Creating technical documentation related to tests
• Take ownership of executing the regression runs prior to the releases
• Enhance and maintain automated CI flows
• Reduce the time and manual testing efforts by continuous increase in automation test coverage
