Summary
Join Doowii, a data platform for educators, as a QA Engineer to ensure our web applications are robust and reliable. You will design, develop, and execute automated tests, perform manual and automated testing, manage Github actions, and help write testing frameworks. Collaborate with engineering and product teams to maintain high quality standards. Identify and track bugs, define best practices in QA processes, and be a quality advocate throughout the software development lifecycle. This role requires 3+ years of experience in software QA, knowledge of test automation frameworks (Playwright in React applications), familiarity with web technologies (React, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Firestore), and strong communication skills.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in software QA (manual and/or automated)
- Knowledge of test automation frameworks and scripting specifically
- Several years experience with Playwright in a React application
- Github Actions and/or similar CI/CD devops technologies
- Familiarity with web technologies
- React, HTML, CSS, Javascript
- Firestore or similar NoSQL DB
- A detail-oriented mindset and a passion for delivering high-quality software
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- At least some backend (Python preferable) experience
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute thorough automated End-to-End tests using Playwright in primarily React based applications & Firestore DB environments
- Perform manual and automated testing to ensure product quality and performance
- Manage complex Github actions that help automate End-to-End testing
- Help write testing frameworks & benchmarks for LLM agents
- Identify, record, and track bugs using tools like Linear
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure features meet acceptance criteria
- Define and implement best practices in QA processes
- Be a quality advocate in all stages of the Software Development Lifecycle, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards before they reach our users
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience testing LLM responses using Langraph or similar frameworks
- Experience in EdTech, SaaS, or data visualization
- Interest in education and improving user outcomes for students and teachers
