QA Engineer

Summary

Join our team as a QA Engineer and contribute to the quality of our Wireless Standard POS retail management solution. You will perform manual testing of web applications, create testing documentation, and participate in various meetings. Responsibilities include executing regression and smoke tests, maintaining testing environments, and assisting in production issue troubleshooting. You will collaborate with development teams and work with different testing directions. The ideal candidate possesses 3+ years of QA experience, expertise in testing web applications and web services (REST), and a solid understanding of software development life cycles and test design techniques. This role offers opportunities to learn and improve a complex product architecture.

Requirements

• Experience in QA 3+ years
• Experience of testing web applications
• Experience of testing web-services: REST
• Good understanding of version control and release management processes
• Good understanding of software development life cycle
• Knowledge of test design techniques
• Knowledge of SQL
• Good understanding of client server architecture
• Good written and spoken English skills (intermediate level)
• Cooperative and flexible team player
• Proactive and result-oriented person

Responsibilities

• Manual testing of web applications (functional, contract, integration, end-to-end testing), including applications integrated into Point-of-Sale, integrated with 3rd parties APIs and applications
• Execution of regression and smoke tests
• Creation of testing documentation
• Participation in internal meetings (sprint planning, grooming, daily stand-ups, etc), external demos and meetings with stakeholders, customers and partners
• Maintenance of testing environments
• Assistance in production issues trouble shoot
• Generation of great ideas and improvements for our products (this is always welcomed in out team)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in testing complex applications that include integrations with different 3rd parties (APIs, etc)
• Experience with: JIRA, TestRail, Postman, Fiddler, Swagger
