Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with JavaScript-based frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or Cypress
• Experience in both manual and automated functional testing to ensure features meet specified requirements
• Hands-on experience with NodeJS and React
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or similar cloud-based solutions
• Experience with testing in microservices environments
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like AWS CodePipeline or Jenkins
• Experience in testing RESTful services, proficiency with tools like Postman
• Strong SQL skills and experience with NoSQL databases are a plus
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote setting
• Business acumen that aligns with our product-first philosophy

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks
• Integrate quality assurance into our CI/CD processes, collaborating closely with the development and operations teams
• Serve as an advocate for quality, participating in product and engineering discussions from ideation through to release
• Conduct deep dives into data layers, targeting issues not immediately visible through UI
• Spearhead performance and load testing initiatives as part of our scaling strategy
• Clearly and effectively document testing processes and outcomes
• Utilize customer feedback to identify potential areas for product improvement
• Proactively identify and assess potential bottlenecks and risks, offering solutions to mitigate them
