Summary

Protofire is seeking a QA Engineer with expertise in web3 projects and blockchain applications. The candidate should have significant manual and automated testing experience, proficiency in programming languages like Python, JavaScript, or Solidity, hands-on experience with blockchain platforms, familiarity with testing frameworks and tools, strong understanding of smart contract security best practices, and experience with test automation tools.

Requirements

• Significant experience performing manual testing, including creating and executing specific test cases for blockchain applications following a QA process
• Proven experience in QA automation with a focus on blockchain technologies
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Solidity
• Hands-on experience with blockchain platforms like Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, or others
• Familiarity with blockchain testing frameworks and tools (Truffle, Ganache, Remix, etc.)
• Strong understanding of smart contract security best practices
• Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Web3.js, or similar

Responsibilities

• Communicating and working with business owners to write and implement related test plans/ strategies, arranging hardware and software for the test setup
• Designing test cases/acceptance criteria
• Executing tests
• Reporting testing status to project stakeholders
