Remote QA Engineer

Summary

This job is for a QA Engineer who will work on key parts of the QA process, define quality KPIs, drive testing efforts, lead automation strategies, and maintain the highest bar of quality possible. The role reports to the Head of QA Engineering.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science, Math, or Engineering
• 3-6 years of QA engineering experience
• Have hands-on experience crafting test strategies, test plans, and test cases
• Experience with UI automation frameworks
• Experience with test automation using Python, Java, or JavaScript
• Efficient in effort estimation, planning, prioritization and time management
• Proactive communication skills, both sync and async
• Flexible and positive
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal direction

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain and execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests
• Perform automated and manual testing efforts for Writer and our extensions/integrations
• Maintain and improve automation frameworks
