Requirements

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or 2+ years of equivalent experience
  • 1+ years’ experience in software quality assurance or related technical role
  • Strong knowledge of software testing principles and best practices
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
  • Passion for quality assurance, continuous learning and improving

Responsibilities

  • Execute manual and automated test cases to clearly and effectively identify, document, and report software defects using designated tools
  • Develop comprehensive test cases and scripts according to established company practices
  • Collaborate closely with Developers, Product Managers, and Designers to gather and analyze project requirements, ensuring the testability of new features
  • Assist in triaging, troubleshooting, and resolving customer-reported defects in partnership with Customer Support, Product Managers, and Developers
  • Prioritize testing activities to ensure deadlines and project deliverables are consistently met
  • Utilize automation tools (e.g., Cypress, Selenium) to enhance testing efficiency
  • Help maintain up-to-date test documentation and manage testing environments
  • Actively participate in team meetings and collaborative quality assurance initiatives
  • Stay informed on QA best practices and emerging trends in testing methodologies, sharing relevant insights with the team

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with programming or scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, Java)
  • Exposure to testing automation tools (e.g., Cypress, Selenium)
  • Experience with SaaS or cloud-based software products
