Summary

The job is for a QA Lead at Satori, an analytics agency in South-Eastern Europe. Requirements

  • Have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a QA Engineer or in a relevant position, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
  • Demonstrate extensive working knowledge with SQL
  • Have a deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of QA processes, testing types, and techniques
  • Have a solid understanding of Agile principles and practices
  • Be fluent in English

Responsibilities

  • Organize and own the QA environment
  • Manage the QA division of Satori, allocate engineers to projects, monitor their performance, coach and guide them
  • Work with our director of Engineering to set up, implement and review our QA strategy and practices
  • Work with Dev Ops to incorporate automated testing into the CI/CD pipelines
  • Guide the team to write automated regression tests that will be incorporated in a CI/CD pipeline
  • Contribute in full functionality testing of the sprint’s stories
  • Isolate, replicate, and report defects in high visibility projects
  • Provide leadership in promoting the Agile methodologies
  • Assist in the creation of user stories, ensuring that the acceptance criteria are well defined and satisfy customer requirements
  • Work with the business analysts, developers, and data scientists to prepare and document high level test strategies
  • Own the ISO processes of the company, leading the ISO compliance team in order to maintain and enhance our compliance processes
  • Demonstrate stories during the sprint review
  • Provide guidance to the team assisting the client with UAT. test scripts that the client will use on their UAT environment
  • Validate backend relational data stored in various SQL databases to validate business requirements (which requires the use of TSQL statements)
  • Report QA metrics and quality issues to project and business stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working with data-intensive projects
  • Proven experience in an agile environment, with the ability to adapt and lead teams in agile practices
  • ISTQB Advanced or Expert Level certification
  • Familiarity with Azure and Amazon AWS
  • Extensive experience working with SQL Databases
  • Proven track record of owning ISO processes within the company, leading the ISO compliance team
