Quality Control Operations Manager, Remote - Worldwide

Summary

The job is for a Quality Control Manager at TSS Family of Companies, reporting to the Quality Director. The role involves leading a team of QC analysts, improving and maintaining current functional QC processes, analyzing data, collaborating with other departments, and ensuring compliance with regulations and customer needs.

Requirements

• Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• 3 or more years in a quality-related, operations, or process improvement role
• 3 or more years’ experience managing a remote team

Responsibilities

• Improve and maintain current functional QC processes and documents
• Lead process improvement efforts and delegate actions to team members
• Monitor operational productivity and provide updates on project goals
• Manage a queue of customer projects requiring QC inspection for conformity to requirements
• Review, trend, and analyze data quality error trends and communicate with applicable stakeholders to continuously improve quality of services
• Collaborate with Quality Director and QA Manager on policies, goals and objectives, expansion of the QMS, and resources needed to meet expectations
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality Assurance, and Technical Writing to resolve ongoing issues impacting customer reporting and data integrity
• Coordinate with other departments to adapt Quality Control needs for acquisitions and integrations, development of new services, changes to software, and developing training materials

Preferred Qualifications

• Lean Six-sigma Green Belt preferred
• Experience with GMP/GxP customers and awareness of ALCOA+ principles preferred
