Summary

Join a dynamic team at LGC Clinical Diagnostics as a Laboratory Technician. Prepare samples for testing, analyze results, and perform various tasks with limited independent judgment. Develop skills in customer service, problem-solving, and process improvement.

Requirements

• Associates in Medical Laboratory Science or a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology (preferred) or related science degree (i.e. biology, chemistry, biochemistry)
• 1-3 years working experience in a clinical chemistry lab or equivalent setting
• Organization and multitasking skills
• Experienced in use of various software programs
• Previous working experience with mainstream clinical analyzers from Roche, Siemens, OrthoClinical, Beckman Coulter, or Abbott desired

Responsibilities

• Follows standardized procedures and prepares samples for testing
• Analyzes test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits
• Relies on limited independent judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Performs a variety of tasks
