Summary

Fleetio is seeking an experienced Quality Engineering Manager to lead their Quality team and improve quality engineering practices. Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience leading quality engineering or quality-focused teams as a Quality Engineering Manager
  • Proven experience with web and mobile testing practices that ensure quality releases
  • Strong track record in quality engineering as an individual contributor and as a leader
  • A strong advocate for automation where necessary that has a meaningful, positive impact on quality
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and improve release quality and operational practices necessary to deliver high-quality releases
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce defects, and increase efficiency
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the quality engineering team, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement
  • Set clear objectives, performance goals, and professional development plans for team members
  • Collaborate with the product team to plan, test and ship quality releases
  • Aid in recruitment and retention efforts to continue growing our quality engineering initiatives and culture
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of quality documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), test cases, and quality team literature

Preferred Qualifications

  • You know a thing or two about the fleet management industry
  • Prior experience as a Software Engineer or as a Software Engineer in Test
