Join our team as a Reconciliation Team Lead and oversee the reconciliation process across all payment flows, including acquisitions, payouts, P2P, refunds, and chargebacks. You will manage a team of specialists, setting priorities, coordinating daily work, and mentoring team members. Responsibilities include daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation of high-volume transactions, matching data between internal systems and external statements, identifying and resolving discrepancies, collaborating with other teams, preparing financial reports, and driving process improvements. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills, as well as experience with payment systems and reconciliation processes. Fluency in Russian and English is essential. Requirements
- At least 3+ years of experience in payment systems, fintech, or banking with a strong focus on reconciliation
- At least 1+ year of experience in a Lead role or in a position with clear ownership over reconciliation processes
- Strong understanding of card payments transaction processing principles
- Hands-on experience reconciling data across multiple payment providers, banks, and internal systems
- Knowledge of payment infrastructure and cash flow principles
- Experience with reconciliation automation (scripts, tools, dashboards)
- Proficient in Excel (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
- Ability to work with large volumes of data, identify errors, and analyze discrepancies
- Excellent leadership, team-formation, and communication skills
- Fluent Russian and confident English level
Responsibilities
- Managing a team of reconciliation specialists: setting priorities, coordinating daily work, mentoring, and supporting their growth
- Leading the reconciliation process across all payment flows: acquiring, payouts, P2P, refunds, chargebacks
- Overseeing and executing daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation of transactions with large volumes
- Matching data between internal systems and statements from multiple banks and payment providers
- Identifying, analyzing, and resolving discrepancies, including complex and time-sensitive cases
- Collaborating closely with accounting, risk, and support teams to resolve reconciliation issues
- Preparing financial reports and dashboards based on reconciliation results
- Driving automation and process improvements in collaboration with product and engineering teams
- Developing documentation and internal controls to improve transparency and audit readiness
