Summary

Join Deel, a leading global payroll and HR platform, as a Cash Management Specialist and play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations. You will be responsible for daily reconciliations of bank accounts, payment service providers, and credit cards, validating and maintaining cash data, reporting and resolving connectivity issues, collaborating on process improvements, and supporting month-end closing activities. This role requires 1-2 years of experience in cash management, a strong understanding of banking systems and international business, and expertise in global payments transactions. You will also need excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, along with advanced proficiency in Excel.

Requirements

  • Experience: You have 1-2 years of experience in cash management, ideally within a multinational corporation, bank, or FinTech environment
  • Technical Knowledge: You possess a solid understanding of banking systems and international business, particularly in handling multi-currency transactions
  • Global Payments Expertise: Familiarity with the requirements and complexities of global payments transactions, including SEPA, SWIFT, API connectivity, banking platforms, and Treasury Management Systems (TMS), is essential
  • Organizational Skills: You excel in prioritizing tasks, managing your time effectively, and working independently with minimal supervision to meet deadlines
  • Communication and Problem-Solving: You have excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel

Responsibilities

  • Bank, PSP, and Credit Card Reconciliations: Perform daily reconciliations of bank accounts, payment service providers (PSP), and credit cards to ensure that all transactions are accurately recorded and discrepancies are promptly identified and resolved
  • Cash Data Management: Validate and maintain cash data on a day-to-day basis, ensuring that all financial records are up-to-date and accurate
  • Connectivity Issue Reporting: Report and track any connectivity issues with banking and payment systems, working closely with IT and other teams to ensure timely resolution and minimize impact on operations
  • Continuous Improvement Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of reconciliation processes
  • Closing Activities Support: Assist in the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, including the preparation of financial reports and ensuring compliance with internal controls
  • Ad Hoc Support: Provide support for various ad hoc tasks as required, contributing to the broader goals of the finance team
  • Financial and Analytical Support: Provide financial and analytical support, including daily, weekly, and monthly reporting on treasury and financial activities
  • Transaction Monitoring: Monitor all transactions and bank balances daily to ensure accuracy and promptly address any discrepancies
  • Issue Resolution: Track and resolve connectivity issues, and implement live dashboards to monitor and address data discrepancies in real-time
  • Cash Flow Analysis: Analyze the company’s cash flow, including pay-ins and pay-outs, to support effective cash management and forecasting

Preferred Qualifications

Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional European or Asian languages is a plus
