Summary

Join Shift5, a rapidly growing cybersecurity company, as a Recruiter to contribute to our continued expansion. This remote position involves leading full-cycle recruiting for various roles across different departments. You will work closely with hiring managers, source candidates through diverse channels, conduct interviews, and manage the interview process. The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication skills, proficiency in ATS (specifically Greenhouse), and a strong understanding of the recruiting lifecycle. This role requires the ability to obtain a US Government TS clearance. Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to engage effectively with all levels of staff and management
  • Proficient in the use of applicant tracking systems (ATS), specifically Greenhouse amongst others
  • Strong understanding of the complete recruiting lifecycle and best practices
  • Ability to efficiently multitask and accommodate change of priorities on demand
  • Ability to obtain an active US Government TS clearance

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with hiring managers to define position requirements and ideal candidate profiles, especially for roles demanding high-level security clearances
  • Source candidates through a variety of channels, including direct outreach, social media, job boards, professional networks, aerospace & defense tech events, and employee referrals
  • Conduct initial screening interviews to assess technical skills, experience, and cultural fit
  • Manage the interview process, scheduling & coordinating between candidates and hiring teams, to ensure a smooth and efficient experience for all parties
  • Foster strong relationships with potential candidates and build a pipeline of talented engineers for current and future needs
  • Stay informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques to remain competitive in state-of-the-art recruiting practices

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 1-5 years of recruiting experience within a high growth tech startup
  • Active network within the cybersecurity, defense and general hardware / software industries
  • Knowledge of employment law as it relates to hiring
