Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in recruiting, with a strong emphasis on proactive sourcing for technical roles
  • Proven experience with various sourcing tools and platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search)
  • Demonstrated experience in external communications, marketing, or brand management, preferably within the government contracting or technology sector
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft engaging and persuasive content
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with candidates and internal stakeholders
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and CRM tools
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a remote environment

Responsibilities

  • Sourcing Expertise: Proactively identify, engage, and attract passive candidates for highly specialized roles, including Cloud Architects, Cloud Engineers, AI/ML Engineers, Data Scientists, Software Developers (with a focus on cloud-native and Generative AI), and other emerging technology experts
  • Talent Pipeline Development: Build and maintain robust talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs through various channels, including LinkedIn Recruiter, industry-specific job boards, professional networks, academic institutions, and veteran organizations
  • Candidate Engagement: Develop and execute creative outreach strategies to engage potential candidates, effectively communicate Game Plan Tech's unique value proposition, and nurture relationships
  • Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Management: Utilize and maintain our ATS to track candidate progress, ensure data accuracy, and generate reports
  • Interview Coordination: Schedule interviews, provide timely feedback to candidates, and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
  • Market Research: Stay informed of industry trends, talent market dynamics, and competitive intelligence to inform recruiting strategies
  • Diversity & Inclusion: Support and promote Game Plan Tech's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in all recruiting efforts
  • Social Media Management: Contribute to the management of Game Plan Tech's social media presence (LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.) to enhance brand awareness and attract talent
  • Content Development: Assist in developing compelling content for external communications, including company news, thought leadership articles, social media posts, and website updates
  • Employer Branding: Collaborate on initiatives to strengthen Game Plan Tech's employer brand, showcasing our culture, values, and the exciting work we do
  • Website Content: Support updates and improvements to the careers section of our website
  • External Messaging: Ensure consistent and impactful messaging across all external communication channels

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of the US Federal Government contracting environment is a plus
  • Experience recruiting for government contractors
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies such as Generative AI
  • Experience with employer branding initiatives
  • Active participation in professional networking groups related to technology or government contracting
