Regional Business Assurance Associate

Summary

dLocal is seeking a Regional Business Assurance Associate to join their Business Assurance team. This role involves reconciling and controlling the full transactional flow of the company, identifying and reporting issues, following up on corrective actions, analyzing and evaluating accounting documentation, and working closely with other departments. The ideal candidate should have high attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, 2+ years of experience in internal/external auditing, reconciliations or multinational companies, strong Excel skills, ability to adapt to change quickly, multi-task, be enthusiastic, self-motivated and confident. The candidate must also be a public accountant or an accounting student, fluent in written and spoken English and Spanish.

Requirements

• High attention to detail, well organized and excellent analytical skills
• 2+ years of experience in internal/external auditing, reconciliations or multinational companies
• Strong Excel skills, ability to handle large amounts of data and to compile detailed reports
• Ability to adapt to change quickly and multi-task
• Enthusiastic, self-motivated and confident
• Be a public accountant or an accounting student
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Fluent written and spoken Spanish

Responsibilities

• Reconciling and controlling the full transactional flow of the company
• Examine the money going in and out of the organization and make sure it is recorded and processed correctly
• Identify and report issues and dimensions of the risk
• Following up on corrective actions to resolve differences and deficiencies
• Obtaining, analyzing, and evaluating accounting documentation
• Working closely with other departments of the company
• Contacting banks and acquirers to resolve issues
