Requirements
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive sales experience, with a proven track record of success in Hotel Group Sales
- Established network of contacts within the hospitality industry
- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing high-performing, remote sales teams
- Strong understanding of the hospitality industry and Enterprise sales processes
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry partners
- Strategic thinker with a proven ability to develop and execute sales plans
- Proficiency in Salesforce CRM and other sales tools
- Ability to travel as required
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive regional group sales strategy aligned with Cloudbeds' overall business objectives
- Identify and capitalize on market opportunities to drive revenue growth and expand market share
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform strategic decision-making
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of group sales professionals to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track sales performance and identify areas for improvement
- Provide regular sales forecasting and reporting to senior management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, industry partners, and associations
- Represent Cloudbeds at industry events, conferences, and trade shows
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the group sales segment
- Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline
- Negotiate and close complex sales agreements
- Collaborate with Marketing to generate leads and support sales efforts
- Recruit, train, and develop high-performing sales professionals
- Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team culture
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and feedback
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrable success in selling PMS or other hotel tech software
