Requirements

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive sales experience, with a proven track record of success in Hotel Group Sales
  • Established network of contacts within the hospitality industry
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing high-performing, remote sales teams
  • Strong understanding of the hospitality industry and Enterprise sales processes
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry partners
  • Strategic thinker with a proven ability to develop and execute sales plans
  • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM and other sales tools
  • Ability to travel as required

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive regional group sales strategy aligned with Cloudbeds' overall business objectives
  • Identify and capitalize on market opportunities to drive revenue growth and expand market share
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform strategic decision-making
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of group sales professionals to achieve and exceed sales targets
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track sales performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Provide regular sales forecasting and reporting to senior management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, industry partners, and associations
  • Represent Cloudbeds at industry events, conferences, and trade shows
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the group sales segment
  • Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline
  • Negotiate and close complex sales agreements
  • Collaborate with Marketing to generate leads and support sales efforts
  • Recruit, train, and develop high-performing sales professionals
  • Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team culture
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and feedback

Preferred Qualifications

Demonstrable success in selling PMS or other hotel tech software
