Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • At least three years’ supervisory experience in solar preferred
  • Previous experience managing multiple projects
  • Experience implementing quality control/quality assurance processes
  • Demonstrated Safe Working Practices and knowledge of OSHA safety standards, OSHA 30 training preferred
  • Success at managing and delivering construction projects on schedule and under budget; and understanding of construction math
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate employees
  • Experience supervising and managing subcontractors in other trades
  • Proficiency on a computer with MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Experience and comfort level working on roofs
  • Must have a valid state driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Must have a clean driving record

Responsibilities

  • Work with Operations Analyst to ensure that project schedules and planning timelines are met
  • Manage the activities of projects to ensure that the construction schedules are met
  • Plan, direct and coordinate activities of projects to ensure that goals/objectives are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and budget parameters
  • Provide safety protocols and procedures across all PosiGen market
  • Direct and manage multiple sites, employees and contractors; manage field technician activities and training
  • Assist with Managing fleet and maintenance accounts
  • Perform complex electrical installation and repairs
  • Supervise and motivate a variety of field personnel involved in the installation of solar projects
  • Drive continuous improvements for safety, quality, customer service and production through field operations
  • Manage internal and external caseload; follow up and daily metrics monitoring; oversee special projects as needed

Preferred Qualifications

Three years’ supervisory experience in solar preferred
