Summary

Join SumUp, a global fintech company, as a Regional Sales Manager in France to lead and grow a field sales team. Requirements

  • 7+ years of leadership experience, including direct management of field sales teams
  • Proven success in sales strategy execution and people management
  • Experience in industries such as POS, merchant services, fintech, telecom, or energy
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with KPIs and performance data
  • Excellent communication and coaching abilities
  • A track record of building high-performing, autonomous teams
  • Fluency in French and proficiency in English

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of 3–5 Territory Managers across key regions in France
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training of field sales consultants
  • Define and implement regional sales strategies to boost acquisition and performance
  • Work in the field with Territory Managers, coaching and driving team results hands-on
  • Monitor and optimize KPIs, commission plans, and team performance
  • Ensure smooth alignment with cross-functional stakeholders (People, Enablement, Marketing, etc.)
  • Build and share sales toolkits, pitches, and training material
  • Provide insights into the French market and help shape go-to-market initiatives
  • Act as a strategic partner to the Head of Sales France and contribute to long-term sales success

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with freelance or commission-based sales consultants
  • Knowledge of the French SME market and competitive landscape
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce)
