Responsibilities

• Review media content trends in Central Asia
• Provide support to IREX partners for strategy development
• Supervise the adaptation of educational content
• Support media partners in the production and co-production of media content as needed
• Perform other duties as required by the job
• Provide strategic and technical leadership to the program
• Coordinate with IREX program and management teams in the home office
• Oversee and monitor quality of organizational capacity development to local organizations
• Ensure project activities are implemented on schedule and within budget
• Serve as principal liaison with private sector and civil society partners, program partners and beneficiaries, and other stakeholders
• Communicate regularly with IREX/DC regarding project implementation and partner relations
• Develop and maintain effective partnerships with local, regional, and international organizations active in the media sector
• Support monitoring, evaluation, and reporting of program activities
• Mentor and at times oversee work of regional project staff and local project partners
