Summary

Join Protective Life Corporation's Asset Protection Division as a Regional Sales Director and lead a network of independent insurance agents to achieve significant sales growth within a designated U.S. region. This pivotal role demands expertise in acquiring new clients, nurturing existing dealer relationships, and developing effective sales strategies. You will collaborate closely with agents to boost same-store sales and enhance customer experiences. Furthermore, you will cultivate strong relationships with key personnel at client accounts and conduct financial reviews. Leveraging CRM tools for lead tracking and analysis is crucial for success. This position requires strong communication and presentation skills, as you will serve as a company ambassador.

Requirements

  • Prior sales management experience required
  • Must possess strong leadership abilities; including managing and motivating a team
  • Strong focus on customer service, which includes excellent listening skills, verbal communication skills, and interpersonal skills
  • Must have a proven track record of developing sales results in a assigned territory
  • Possess an organized approach in problem solving ability
  • Must have own vehicle with a good driving record
  • Must be able to travel up to 75% of the time by air or car

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth by acquiring new business and cultivating new agency relationships
  • Work with agents to develop and execute strategy for same store sales revenue growth leading to the additional sale of products to existing clients. Gather customer insight and drive solutions to enhance the customer experience
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior level personnel within customer accounts
  • Conducts financial reviews with executive ownership of all dealership groups within their region
  • Utilize CRM to actively track and analyze sales leads and customer interactions to enhance business relationships with customers and drive sales growth

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 5-7 years automotive industry experience preferred
