Summary

Join a leading manufacturer of underwater pelletizers as their Regional Sales Manager! This remote position, based in the United States, focuses on maximizing sales and profits in North America. Requirements

  • At least 5+ years of experience in technical sales of capital goods, ideally in the plastic-industry, pelletizing, plastic extrusion, compounding, masterbatch, recycling, and Petro chemical industries
  • Skills in project management
  • Professional presentation & negotiation skills
  • Experience with sale controlling tools (CRM, strategy paper, business plan, budgetary planning, sales visits, business trip planning)
  • Full competency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Able to function and perform assigned job and tasks with a high level of personal responsibility and ownership
  • Proven networking abilities within customer and supply base
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to successfully coordinate and complete multiple tasks within and across departments to meet established and changing deadlines
  • Strong communication skills: verbal, written, and technical presentations

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage Regional Sales Operations in North America, coordinating with the Director of Sales and Vice President from Austria
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and key personnel to resolve commercial issues, drive growth, and enhance market presence
  • Represent and promote this company as an innovative and capable partner; align customer communication and strategy to strengthen brand perception
  • Provide commercial input to product development, marketing procedures, and strategic planning, ensuring alignment with global objectives and market trends
  • Manage all aspects of commercial responsibility for the application team, including documentation, customer requirements, and resolution of sales, quality, and engineering issues
  • Collaborate with and support Manufacturers Representatives, maintaining communication, sharing project strategies, and participating in joint customer visits
  • Travel as needed across the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Central America, and to the company's headquarters in Austria; attend relevant trade shows and perform additional duties as assigned
