Summary

Join Roman Pennsylvania Medical, P.C. (RPM) as a Virtual Registered Nurse for a 6-month contract, providing high-quality patient care through telehealth. Partner with RPM providers and work independently to manage patient needs, including message triage, counseling, and education. You will coordinate care, triage patient concerns, and utilize the EMR system to answer questions and provide education. Responsibilities include reviewing lab results, providing lifestyle coaching, and serving as a resource for the care team. This role requires a BSN, active nursing licenses, and 4 years of clinical experience. The position offers a competitive salary and flexible scheduling options.

Requirements

  • BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing)
  • Active, unencumbered Compact Nursing License AND a minimum of 2 active, unencumbered Non-Compact Nursing Licenses (AK, CA, CT, DC, HI, IL, MA, MI, MN, NV, NY, OR)
  • 4 years of clinical experience as an RN
  • Experience in a fast-paced, highly iterative clinical care role
  • Strong written and oral communication
  • Tech savviness
  • Ability to work independently
  • Resourceful and willing to take ownership of tasks
  • Ability to balance quality and efficiency/metrics

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive clinical care by independently managing direct patient needs, including message triage, counseling, and education to patients in our Sexual Health and Metabolic Health care verticals
  • Complete tasks such as side effect management, efficacy counseling, and overall clinical practice support
  • Coordinate care effectively by triaging and escalating patient concerns to the appropriate provider groups (Staff RNs, Practitioners, Customer Care, Patient Advocates) according to Ro guidelines
  • Triage patient queries and adverse event reports, ensuring they are routed to the patient’s physician, NP, or medical leadership as needed
  • Utilize our custom EMR system to answer basic medical questions, educate patients on their conditions and treatments, and offer guidance on lifestyle recommendations and holistic therapies
  • Adhere to best practices and company-specific policies for nursing care and treatment
  • Review lab results using approved protocols to provide targeted lifestyle coaching and patient education for weight management
  • Serve as a resource for the non-clinical Care Team, addressing day-to-day clinical questions and concerns

  • We're currently looking for the following availability: Sunday - Wednesday OR Wednesday - Saturday
  • Working hours - 8am-6pm EST OR 9am-7pm EST
  • The annualized base salary for this position is $90,000
