Summary
Join Navy Federal Credit Union as a Release Train Engineer! This remote position, preferably near HQ or GPO, requires 15+ years in IT, 10+ years as a scrum master, and 5+ years as a Release Train Engineer. You will lead Agile Release Trains (ARTs) in Identity and Access Management, act as an escalation point for impediments, and coordinate multiple scrum teams. SAFe RTE and SPC certifications are required, along with significant agile transformation experience. The role demands proficiency in tools like Azure DevOps and strong stakeholder relationship skills. A Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience is necessary.
Requirements
- At least 15 years of experience working within Information Technology
- At least 10 years working as a scrum master
- At least 5 years of those years serving as an active Release Train Engineer
- SAFe RTE certification
- SAFe Program Consultant Certification β Distinguishing Factor
- Significant experience in agile transformation, coaching, and transitioning teams, programs, and portfolios
- Proficient with tools like Azure DevOps for facilitating scrum teams
- Skilled in creating reporting metrics and dashboards to illustrate value flow
- Ability to coach and mentor scrum masters, empowering delivery teams to embrace agility
- Competent in removing impediments affecting team execution and creating release plans
- Excellent relationship building skills with the stakeholders and the team
- Bachelorβs degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Deep knowledge of Agile methodologies (SAFe, Scrum)
- Leadership skills to coordinate multiple teams
- Strong facilitation and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Lead an Agile Release Trains (ARTs) in the Identity and Access Management field, through SAFe implementation and all of the ART level ceremonies
- Act as the escalation point for impediments and risks, collaborating with Business Product Owners
- Coordinate across multiple scrum teams, ensuring alignment and transparency throughout the Program Increment lifecycle
- Establish strong working relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- An Agile RTE Engineer oversees the execution of Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and ensures the alignment of teams within a SAFe framework to deliver features and capabilities effectively
